Seungil Hope Nursing Hospital rooftop garden giant flower photo zone, hospital plan interior, walking program space design and safe installation examples.
Giant flower photo zone installed on the rooftop garden of Seungil Hope Nursing Hospital
For the rooftop garden walking program at Seungil Hope Nursing Hospital, LUA ATELIER BLOOM created a space plan using spring flowers and plants and a giant flower photo zone where patients and their families can leave memories.
Beyond simply installing pretty decorations, this site was meaningful in helping patients who have difficulty feeling the season outside their hospital rooms to experience the colors and warm atmosphere of spring up close, even if just for a moment.
Considering the characteristics of the rooftop garden space and the environment of the hospital, we created a flower photo zone and plant decorations that are visually bright but not excessive, and are stable so as not to interfere with the movement line.
Creating a rooftop garden space to see spring outside the hospital room
Seungil Hope Nursing Hospital's walking program is designed to allow patients to come out of their hospital rooms and feel the sunlight, wind, sky, and flowers. In line with this warm purpose, LUA ATELIER BLOOM used spring flowers and various plant materials to make the rooftop garden feel more lively and comfortable.
It was important to maintain the seasonal feel of May, but also create an atmosphere that would not be burdensome even if you stay for a long time in the hospital space. So, the overall design was centered on brightness and freshness, while creating a natural plan that patients and their guardians could comfortably view.
Giant flowers attract attention from afar, and when viewed up close, the three-dimensional effect of the petals enriches the space. Here, plant decorations were placed together to make the rooftop garden look like a small garden where you can feel the seasons.
Hospital photo zone where patients and their families can make memories together
This rooftop garden photo zone has been prepared as a space where patients, their families, medical staff, and volunteers can take pictures together. We considered the location and atmosphere of the photo zone so that the day in the hospital would not be remembered only for treatment and recovery, but also as a warm moment filled with flowers and the sky.
A photo zone is a backdrop for taking pictures, but it is also a space where people's eyes rest. LUA ATELIER BLOOM created a flower photo zone that blends in naturally within the rooftop garden by looking at the height of the giant flowers and plants, the background visible during filming, and the surrounding movement lines.
Considering that it is an environment where patients can move around in beds or wheelchairs, decorations were placed so as not to impede the flow of movement, and even the finishing details were checked to ensure an orderly feel even when viewed up close.
Safe installation and neat finish tailored to hospital space
Hospital event photo zones and plan interiors require more careful installation than general event venues. This is because patients’ movement routes, medical staff’s movements, and guardians’ and volunteers’ walking space must all be taken into consideration.
When installing giant flower and plant decorations, LUA ATELIER BLOOM first examines the site structure and purpose of use, and adjusts the location and spacing so that the decorations look stable within the space. Especially in spaces where people come and go, not only visual perfection but also safety and neat finishing are important.
This site also aimed to maintain the openness of the rooftop garden, while creating a space with a warm and stable atmosphere rather than excessive decoration so that patients could stay comfortably during the walking program.
A meaningful event space complete with giant flowers and plan interiors.
The giant flower photo zone can be used in a variety of spaces, including weddings, first birthday parties, corporate events, and public institution events, as well as hospitals, welfare organizations, schools, and local events. The symbolism and three-dimensional effect of large flowers make the space warmer, and the plan interior adds natural vitality to indoor and outdoor spaces.
LUA ATELIER BLOOM proposes giant flowers, artificial decorations, plant materials, and photo zones according to the purpose of the event and the nature of the space. Rather than just decoration, we value creating a space where people can stay, take photos, and remember those moments.
Creating the rooftop garden at Seungil Hope Nursing Hospital was a meaningful project for LUA ATELIER BLOOM. It was a place where I was able to feel once again that flowers and plants can be a small consolation to someone and a seasonal moment outside the hospital room.
If you are preparing a photo zone for an event at a hospital, public institution, or welfare institution
Hospital photo zones, public institution event photo zones, and welfare institution plan interiors must take into account the purpose of the space and the user's situation. Rather than simply pretty decorations, it is important to ensure safe installation, comfortable movement, neat finishing, and stable collection and removal after the event.
LUA ATELIER BLOOM proposes creating a space suitable for the site through the production and installation of a giant flower photo zone, plan interior, and flower photo zone. We prepare warm and complete productions suitable for not only weddings, first birthday parties, and corporate events, but also hospitals, schools, welfare organizations, and public institution events.
